The MEDIA 2007 Programme provides European independent production companies with financial support for the development of new production projects in the following genres: Fiction, Creative Documentary, Animation and Interactive projects.  Financial support can be given to catalogues of projects (through the "slate funding" mechanism) or to one project at a time. The amounts of support does not in principle exceed 50% of development budgets (covering writing, search for partners, preparation of financing, marketing and distribution plans.)
